CRT workshop café

We want to be a learning organization. And we like to share everything we have learned with you. That is why we regularly hold workshop cafes on various topics. Issues that we ourselves have had to deal with and from which we have learned valuable lessons.

Workshop AVG (General data protection regulation)

When developing the Subject Passport (including the app), security is our highest priority. We would like to share with you what we ran into and how we solved problems. We want to do this by giving a workshop about 'AVG'.

  • Time: approx. 1.5 hours (with opportunity to chat)
  • Location: online

During the workshop, after a brief introduction, we will talk to our data officer Dimmen Smolders. We will discuss the legal basis of the AVG for personal data. European privay legislation

On 25 May 2018, the new European privacy legislation came into force. Have you already set up your processes and data in line with the new privacy rights of individuals?

More information

The AVG/GDPR is a law that regulates a unified approach to the protection of personal data across Europe. The law provides for strengthening and expanding the privacy rights of individuals. It also requires organizations within the EU, from small to large, to take protective measures, demonstrate these and report any data breaches. This places a heavy burden on the data, document and information management of organizations and the way in which they record and manage these things. Examples include the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO), the drafting of Privacy Impact Assessments, the more stringent implementation of a Data Retention Policy and the optimal processing of data in the Cloud.
