With the help of focus groups we want to see how the app is experienced.

We are currently working hard on the first application of the register: the Vakpaspoort technique. This app bundles certificates and data from professionals in one place. With the app, professionals can show that their knowledge is up-to-date and thus prove their craftsmanship. Customers and clients can identify recognized professionals with the app. This saves time and increases the reliability of professionals. The first release of this app is expected to be available in July.

As soon as this is possible, we want to initially have the app used to a limited extent to see how the user responds to this. How is the app experienced? Where are possible areas for improvement? These are questions we want to get an answer to. We want to do this with the help of focus groups. An important step towards the delivery of the app is to involve organizations that can make a positive contribution to the end result. The purpose of the focus groups is to discuss the app, to take a critical look at it and to offer the opportunity to think along with us.

We put focus groups together in three categories:

• Specialist companies
• Specialists
• Clients

Diversity within the focus groups is very important to us. For example it does not matter:

• Your attitude towards the register (positive, neutral or negative);
• Whether you are a large or smaller organization (or work for a large or small organization or are self-employed);
• Which region you come from;
• What your education level is;
• What your age is;
• What function you have;
• Which industry you fall into.

Participants are given the unique opportunity to be one of the first to use and view the app and thus contribute to the construction of a register with added value for all parties in the installation industry. Participants will also be given the opportunity to work together on the shared goals of the sector: stimulating lifelong development and digitization of the sector in order to increase the quality and pride of craftsmanship.

After the summer we will start with composing the focus group, with help of our partners.
